About the Bible Study

How can we fully know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? Are we enemies of God? How can we be reconciled to God? After being reconciled to God, how can we serve Him in Christ Jesus? What does it mean to be in the family of God, the Lord’s body?

To answer these questions, our brother in the Lord, Arlie Eicke, developed the Gift of Eternal Life Berean Bible Study Course over a ten-year period of time. With his permission, the full Course of Study has been added to this site. This excellent course leads the one who truly “asks, seeks and knocks” on a spiritual search through the Word of God to learn The Character of Jesus Christ Our Lord, The Process of Reconciliation With God, The Way of Serving God In Christ Jesus and what it means to be in The Family of God / The Body of Christ.

All lessons were developed using the New International Version of the Bible. Each of the four parts of the Bible Study has six lessons. You are asked to read from the Scriptures. Then there are questions for you to answer, guiding you into deeper consideration of what you have read from God’s Word. You are receiving God’s breath upon you, His Word of Light and Life and Truth. A diligent study of this Course should lead you to an obedient life in Christ so that you bring Him glory both now and forever!

Scripture links were added to the Course for those people who do not have a Bible, or who do not have the New International Version of the Bible. The New Testament was written in koine, or the “common” Greek language of that period—the language of everyday life. It is rich in depth and meaning. Therefore, within the Scripture links, you will find Glossary links of important words in the Scripture text to help increase the fullness of your knowledge of God and His Word. Answer links are also available so that you might check the progress of your studies.
