About Us

Purpose of This Site:

The purpose of this site is to spread the message of the Gospel to those who have not heard it, and to help strengthen the faith of those who have already heard, believed, repented, confessed and obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ in baptism. The Bible IS the Word of God, the Gospel, the "Good News" that God gives to mankind. The Word of God IS Truth, and it is COMPLETE for our salvation. We hope, that through this site, you will learn how great the price was that God paid for your salvation, how to obtain this salvation, how one is added to the church that JESUS built, how to grow and mature as a child of God, how to offer acceptable worship to God, how to teach others the Good News of the Gospel by "rightly dividing the Word of Truth," how important it is to be a student of God's Word every day, how to deal with the trials, troubles, tribulations, worries, etc., of the world, how to be in the world but not of the world, how to serve God, how to honor and bring glory to God with your life, how to be a living example of Christ to others, how to obtain spiritual strength and much, much more.

We want to share with you Scripturally sound sermons and lessons so that you also might become a follower of the Way, a true child of God. Knowing sound doctrine, though, is not enough. After obedience to the Gospel of Christ, we must continue searching the Scriptures, studying and putting into action the Word of God so that we grow and mature daily, and this is a life-long process. God tells us in James 1:22, "Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."

We, as servants and children of God, try in all things to follow the teaching and example of Jesus Christ when He said, "For I did not speak of My Own accord, but the Father Who sent Me commanded Me what to say and how to say it. I know that His command leads to eternal life. So, whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say," John 12:49-50. In John 8:29, Jesus said, "The One Who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him."

This is our goal, and the purpose of this site. We want to SAY just what the Father has told us to say by presenting to you only His Word, sound doctrinal teachings from the Bible. And we want to DO always what pleases God, our Father. We do this by knowing, obeying and living His Word, and ONLY His Word. We seek this for you, too. You will not find the traditions, opinions or teachings of men on this site. You will find the teachings and commands of God. We pray that this site is a blessing to you.

Since the salvation of our souls is totally dependent upon KNOWING and OBEYING and CONTINUING TO LEARN and MATURE in the Word of God, we ask that you do not accept these sermons and lessons from God's Word just because you see them here in print. Make sure that the messenger is speaking the Truth. Take your Bible and LOOK UP THE SCRIPTURES in each sermon and lesson to be SURE that what you are being taught here IS God speaking to you through His Word. Trust the salvation of your soul to no man. Trust the salvation of your soul ONLY to God Who created you, Who loves you and Who has provided through His Word the Way for you to go home to Him in eternity. Be like the brothers and sisters in Christ who lived in the city of Berea. In Acts 17:11, it says, "Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true."
