13. READ: EPHESIANS 4:17-25
d. In Christ, what are we all members of?
Answer: In Christ, we are all members of one body, (verse 25).
Romans 12:5: "so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
1 Corinthians 12:27: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
Ephesians 3:6: "This mystery is that through the Gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus."
Ephesians 5:23, 29-30: "For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior...After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church--for we are members of His body."
Colossians 1:18a: "And He [Christ] is the head of the body, the church..."
Colossians 3:15-17: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
