    2. READ: COLOSSIANS 1:1-14

      c. What does God bring us into?

Answer: God brings us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, (verse 13).

MORE INFORMATION AND/OR OTHER SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

Daniel 2:44: "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever."

Matthew 3:17: "And a voice from heaven said, "This is My Son, Whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.'"

Luke 1:30-33: "But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the Name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end.'"

1 Corinthians 15:24: "Then the end will come, when He [Jesus] hands over the kingdom to God the Father after He has destroyed all dominion, authority and power."

1 Thessalonians 2:10-12: "You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed. For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, Who calls you into His kingdom and glory."

2 Peter 1:10-11: "Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
