Answer: God is glorified in the church, and in Christ
Jesus, (verse 21).
MORE INFORMATION AND/OR OTHER SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:
There will be endless glory for God through the church, the
body of Christ, as the church, each individual member of the body,
displays all of the glories of Christ. To bring God glory was
always Christ's purpose. Because of this, God glorified
Him always. To be in the church, in Christ Jesus, is to bring
glory to the Father, and He has and will glorify us also. We,
His children, His church, are on display in triumphal procession
for the praise of His glory:
1 Chronicles 16:28-29:
"Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to
the Lord glory and strength, ascribe to the Lord the glory due his
Name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord
in the splendor of His holiness."
Psalm 86:9: "All the nations You
have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring
glory to Your Name."
Psalm 96:8: "Ascribe to the Lord
the glory due His Name; bring an offering and come into His
courts."
Isaiah 43:6-7: "I [God] will say to
the north, 'Give them up!' and to the south, 'Do
not hold them back.' Bring My sons from afar and My
daughters from the ends of the earth--everyone who is called
by My Name, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed and
made."
John 13:31-32: "When he [Judas] was
gone, Jesus said, 'Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is
glorified in Him. If God is glorified in Him, God will
glorify the Son in Himself, and will glorify Him at
once.'"
John 15:7-8: [Jesus said,] "If you
remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and
it will be given you. This is to My Father's glory, that you
bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My
disciples."
Romans 8:17: "Now if we are
children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with
Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may
also share in His glory."
Romans 9:22-24: "What if God,
choosing to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with
great patience the objects of His wrath--prepared for
destruction? What if He did this to make the riches of His
glory known to the objects of His mercy, Whom He prepared in
advance for glory--even us, whom He also called, not only from
the Jews but also from the Gentiles?"
Romans 15:5-6: "May the God Who
gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among
yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and
mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ."
1 Corinthians 1:20: "For no matter
how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in
Christ. And so through Him the 'Amen' is spoken by us
to the glory of God."
2 Corinthians 4:13-15: "It is
written: 'I believed; therefore I have spoken.' With
that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak,
because we know that the One Who raised the Lord Jesus from the
dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His
presence. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is
reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to
the glory of God."
Ephesians 1:11-14: "In Him we were
also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him
Who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His
Will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might
be for the praise of His glory. And you also were included in
Christ when you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your
salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the
promised Holy Spirit, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance
until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the
praise of His glory."
Philippians 1:9-11: "And this is my
prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and
depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best
and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with
the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to
the glory and praise of God."
Philippians 2:9-11: "Therefore God
exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the Name that is
above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the
Father."
2 Thessalonians 1:8-12: "He will
punish those who do not know God and do not obey the Gospel of our
Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting
destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the
majesty of His power on the day He comes to be glorified in His
holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have
believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to
you. With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our
God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He
may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by
your faith. We pray this so that the Name of our Lord Jesus
may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of
our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Thessalonians 2:13-15: "But we
ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord,
because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the
sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the
Truth. He called you to this through our Gospel, that you
might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then,
brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you,
whether by word of mouth or by letter."
1 Peter 2:12: "Live such good lives
among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they
may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits
us."
1 Peter 4:11: "If anyone speaks, he
should do it as one speaking the very Words of God. If anyone
serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in
all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the
glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will
never fade away."

strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and
ever. Amen."
Jude 24-25: "To Him Who is able to
keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious
presence without fault and with great joy--to the Only God our
Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ
our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!
Amen."

our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You
created all things, and by Your Will they were created and have
their being."

You, O Lord, and bring glory to Your Name? For You alone are
holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your
righteous acts have been revealed."
