b. What did the eunuch then want to do?
Answer: After hear the Good News about Jesus, the eunuch wanted to be baptized (verse 36).
From The Acts of the Apostles From Jerusalem to Rome by Wayne Jackson:
As this company [Philip and the eunuch] continued along the road, they came upon a certain pool of water. The eunuch exclaimed: "Look, here is water. What is there to hinder me from being immersed?" How did he learn of the necessity of being baptized? It must be inferred that in preaching "Jesus," Philip had proclaimed the Lord's plan as well. The eunuch recognized his responsibility to Christ, hence wanted to identify with the Savior's death, burial, and resurrection in this act that so fittingly portrays those events (cf. Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12).
