a. What did they continually do?
Answer: Day after day, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the Good News that Jesus is the Christ, (verse 42).
Acts 8:1-4: "And Saul was there, giving approval to his [Stephen's] death. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison. Those who had been scattered preached the Word wherever they went."
Acts 9:22: "Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ."
Acts 13:32a: "We tell you the Good News: What God promised our fathers He has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus."
1 Corinthians 9:16: "Yet when I preach the Gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel!"
2 Timothy 4:2: "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction."
