    5. READ: MATTHEW 25:31-46

Answer: Everyone else will go into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels, (verse 41). They will go away to eternal punishment, (verse 46).

MORE INFORMATION AND/OR OTHER SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

Psalm 1:5-6: "Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish."

Proverbs 21:12: "The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin."

Daniel 12:2: "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt."

Matthew 13:40-43,47-50: [Jesus said,] "As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear...Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Matthew 25:30: [Jesus said,] "And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

John 3:36: [Jesus said,] "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

John 5:28-29: [Jesus said,] "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and come out--those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned."

Acts 24:15: "and I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked."

Romans 2:5-8: "But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed. God 'will give to each person according to what he has done.' To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the Truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger."

Galatians 6:8: "The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3: "Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, 'Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."
