- 2 Corinthians 4:13-15 says that we should overflow with thanksgiving to the glory of God because we will be raised with Christ and presented before God:
"It is written: ‘I believed; therefore I have spoken.' With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the One Who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."

"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God."
