Part II--The Process Of Reconciliation With God

F. Lesson 12--We Must Be Faithful In Serving The Lord

    10. READ: COLOSSIANS 1:9-14

      b. What kind of life should we live?

Answer: The child of God should live a life worthy of the Lord so that we may please Him in every way. The way to live this life worthy of the Lord is by (1) bearing fruit in every good work; (2) growing in the knowledge of God; (3) being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience; and (4) joyfully giving thanks to the Father because He has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. We are in the kingdom of light because He rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves. It is because of His Son that we have redemption--the forgiveness of sins, (verses 9 through 14).
