In this world, Christians are to be like God. God is love. When we live in love, God lives in us, and we live in Him. Christians are made perfect in the love of God. In this love of God, we have no fear of punishment because this love of God has given us perfection in and through and with Jesus Christ our Lord:
Romans 15:33: "The God of peace be with you all. Amen."
Ephesians 6:23 says that God and Jesus give us peace and love with faith: "Peace to the brothers, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
