d. How should we treat one another?
Answer: Children of God are to be kind and compassionate to one another. We are to forgive each other the same way as God forgave us when we were first baptized with, in and through Christ, (verse 32).
Matthew 6:14-15: [Jesus said,] "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
Colossians 3:12-13: "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
1 Peter 3:8: "Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble."
