Part II--The Process Of Reconciliation With God

A. Lesson 7--We Must Have Faith In God

    5. READ: JOHN 10:22-30

      b. What does Jesus give to His sheep?

Answer: Jesus gives His sheep eternal life, (verse 28).

MORE INFORMATION AND/OR OTHER SCRIPTURE REFERENCES:

Isaiah 40:10-11: "See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and His arm rules for Him. See, His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him. He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart; He gently leads those that have young."

John 10:10: [Jesus said,] "I have come that they [His sheep] may have life, and have it to the full."

Hebrews 13:20-21: "May the God of peace, Who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His Will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

1 Peter 2:22-25: "‘He [Jesus] committed no sin, and no deceit was found in His mouth.' When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted Himself to Him Who judges justly. He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
