Answer: Jesus said that those people who have not seen Him, but still have believed in Him are blessed, (verse 29).

These words apply to those living at the time of the resurrection of Jesus who did not see Him before He ascended to the Father, but they also apply, of course, to future believers--those who believe because of hearing the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:8-9 says of these future believers:
"Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
