Answer: People then served and worshipped, and now serve and worship, created things instead of the Creator of all things--God. They, in effect, exchanged the Truth of God for a lie--exchanged the Creator for the created; exchanged honor and glory to God for separation from Him by their wickedness; exchanged hearts full of love and devotion to God for hearts full of sinful desires; exchanged retaining the knowledge of God for depraved minds; exchanged the holiness of a life in God for every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity; and exchanged sensitivity, faithfulness, a loving and kind heart, and tender mercy for being senseless, faithless, heartless and ruthless, (verse 24, 25, 28, 29 and 31).
