About the Author

Brett Rutherford received his bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Memphis in 1991. In 1993, he completed his master’s degree in ancient Near Eastern studies from the same institution. He has worked on excavations of ancient native American sites in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. In 1996, Rutherford graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching. He preached for three years in Madison, Wisconsin before heading for the foreign mission field. He is currently preaching for the Mersey Forth Church of Christ in Devonport, Australia.
